About Casa Rocca
Historic Casa Rocca, located at the intersection of 5th and 46th Streets —where Diagonal 77 also converges— in the city of La Plata, Buenos Aires (Argentina) is one of the city’s architectural gems. Built by the Rocca family(1) in 1926, it was originally conceived as a rental house, following the "casa de renta"(2) model.
Its story does not begin or end within its walls. Over the course of a century (3), the building and its surroundings have shared neighbors, businesses, institutions, and small stories that still form part of this corner of La Plata.
